The Iowa caucus is less than a week away. In the 2008 Presidential race, Obama took Iowa comfortably, not too much of a surprise given he took the Dem caucus in a walk and his opposite number John McCain's was walloped by Mike Huckabee (among others) in the GOP battle. History shows that conservative Iowans like their conservatives a deep shade of red.
Nationally, Newt Gingrich is still up a couple of points on Mitt Romney, with Ron Paul a distant third. But in Iowa, Paul is now the front runner, albeit by the tiniest of margins.
